Kirkwood Engineering can trace its history back to its establishment as A H Kirkwood Engineers in 1969. Starting as a general machine shop it soon became a world leader in the design and manufacture of hydraulics manifold blocks and gained customers across the world.

After the death of Alex. Kirkwood, the founder, in 2003 the business has consolidated back to a general machining operation but still services clients across the UK and can undertake turning, milling, boring, grinding spark erosion and other processes.
